“Excellent restaurant with a diverse menu and reasonable prices. The pork riblets were perfect, swimming in sticky caramelized sweet teriyaki sauce. They were so good, both diners literally licked the bowl clean. The walnut shrimp were also excellent. My dining pal and I split the Organic Oxtail over Parsnip Mash, and it was fall-off-the-bone tender..”

“B Star was both perfect and delicious. The menu featured standard favorites like blueberry pancakes (and the perfectly portioned “1, 2, 3″ breakfast, which includes one pancake, two eggs, and three strips of bacon) and salmon benedict to the interesting and savory like jook, stuffed azuki almond banana french toast, lentil ragu, and a few carryovers from Burma Superstar, like veggie samosa soup, tea leaf salad and rainbow salad.”

“I was delighted with my tocino, a sweetish cured pork product similar to Canadian bacon that’s native to the Philippines, served with a fried egg and a heap of garlicky rice. But my favorite dish was the fragrant biryani, served in a little round casserole, its baked rice crowned with cilantro and crunchy toasted almonds that hid tender pieces of chicken, large pink shrimp, peas, and hard-boiled eggs, with hints of clove, cardamom, and cumin as well as ginger and garlic. It was one of the best I’d ever eaten.”
